Stillmore, GA-  Mr. Beatty Alvin "Pop" Spearman, 88 died on December 16, 2018 at Meadows Regional Hospital in Vidalia, GA with his family by his side. Mr. Spearman was born in Bainbridge, GA and lived in Garden City for forty-six years before moving to Stillmore in 2002. He was a member of the US Navy, a past Master of the Clinton 54 Lodge, and a member of the Shriner's Hillbilly unit. He was a loving husband, father and Pop.  Survivors include his children, Linda Spearman Davis of Savannah, Susan Spearman Andrews & David of Pooler and Beatty Alvin "Bubba" Spearman Jr. & Brenda of Bloomingdale; grandchildren Stevie Andrews & Laura of Pooler, Allen Andrews & Mary of Stillmore, Lindsay Strickland & Brandon of Wilmington Island, Courtney Horneij & Eric of Moore, SC and Taylor Davis of Thunderbolt;  Great-Grandchildren Rileigh, Clay, Beau, Ethan and Callie.  Graveside service with burial to follow will be held at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery on Dean Forest Road.  Remembrances may be given to Shriners Children's Hospital.  The visitation will be on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 W.
