Ellabell – Becky Joann Fountain Altman, 60, passed away February 18, 2021 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Becky was born August 30, 1960 in Germany.  She loved arts, crafts, reading, internet games, and tik tok.  She was very family oriented and loved cutting the fool.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clayton Raleigh Fountain; and brother, Clayton A. Fountain.

Survivors include her daughter, Katherine L. Altman; mother, Ruth J. Jarriel; fiancé, Sherman Lee Griffis; sisters, Terry Wilson, Belinda Edwards (Roger), and Patricia Wright (Paul); brothers, Benjamin Joseph Fountain and Dewey Lee Jarriel; nieces and nephews, Danielle Scott, Clayton B. Lang, Roger W. Edwards, Whitney N. Edwards, Derrick Wright, James Wright, and B.J. Fountain; and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the funeral home.

Graveside services will follow at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Effingham Memorial Gardens.
