Springfield – Bennie Levi Howard-Collins, 69, passed away March 22, 2025 at Memorial Health.

Bennie was a lifelong mechanic who could build anything and loved working with his hands.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvie and Frances Collins.

Survivors include his siblings, Jim Collins (Glenda), Faye Dotson (Johnny), Larry Collins (Christie), Alvie Collins (Nancy), John Collins (Kelly), Cindy Beebe, and Mary Collins; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Brother Jackie Gordon officiating.

Interment will follow in Springfield Cemetery Annex.
