Bennie Howard Murphy
Guyton – Bennie Howard Murphy, 73, passed away November 16, 2016 at his residence.
The Candler County native was a retired truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, Zion Murphy and Devonda Smith; daughter, Debbie West; granddaughter, Jessica Murphy; brothers, Russell and Raymond Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Murphy; son, Danny Murphy; grandson, Dalton West; great-granddaughter, Peyton; brothers, Robert and Donald Smith; sisters, Linda Kennedy, Kay Walsh, Grace Durrence, and Becky Anderson; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Effingham Memorial Gardens.
