Obituary
Bloomingdale-Mr. Bernard R. Neal, a.k.a BR, or Ralph, 83, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Hospice Savannah.
Bernard was born in Emanuel County to the late Solomon & Lera Neal. He was a graduate from ECI High School in Twin City and served his country in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1956. He worked with Western Electric and retired from Bell South.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Neal; son and daughter-in-law, Gregory & Allison Neal; granddaughter, Megan Burnsed; step-grandchildren, Hunter Metts and Whitney Avant; 6 great-grandchildren, and his brother, Eddie Dean Neal.
The graveside funeral and burial will be at 12 noon on Tuesday at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery located at 1336 Dean Forest Road in Garden City.
Remembrances may be given to the American Cancer Society, 6600 Abercorn Street, Suite 206, Savannah, GA 31405.
