Mrs. Bernice Turner Roberson, 90, of Pooler, GA, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023.

Bernice was born in Portal, GA to the late Grady Henry Turner and Lillie Mae White Turner.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Pete Roberson, a sister, Irma Conner, and a brother, Henry Turner.  She was the co-owner/operator of Effingham Pizza.  She enjoyed cooking, listening to music, dancing, flowers, and gardening.  She was always a fan of the underdog and believed in treating everyone equally and with a kind heart.

Survivors include her children, Wayne Roberson, Debbie Archer, Terry Roberson (Laura), and Sharon Lawler (Bobby); 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and a sister-in-law, Nancy Floyd Stafford.

The visitation will be on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The memorial service will be on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
