Bert L. Ratliff, Sr.

Springfield - Bert L. Ratliff, Sr., 71, died Saturday, February 27, 2010 at his son's
residence in Rockledge.

The Chatham County native was a retired truck driver and served in the U.S. Marine
Corps.

Survivors include his wife, Linda W. Ratliff of Springfield; sons, Bert L. (Shely) Ratliff,
Jr. of Rockledge and Tommy (Pam H.) Ratliff of Springfield; daughters, Teresa A. (Ricky
D.) Rockett of Guyton and Georgia Ratliff (Darrell A.) Bell of Rincon; grandchildren,
Paige N. Ratliff, Linda Ollie Rowe, Bert Lee Ratliff, III, Ashley Marie Ratliff, Bennie
William Ratliff, II, Brent Sheldon Ratliff, Teresa Allison Rowe, Joshua Thomas Ratliff,
Bryce Daniel Beasley, and Kristian Pamela Ratliff; brother, George Floyd Ratliff, Jr. of
Blackshear; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Margie Ratliff of Glennville, Mr. & Mrs.
J.B. Woods, Jr., Mr. & Mrs. E.M. Woods, Jack Lee Woods, Sr., and Helen Youngblood
all of Guyton; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel.

Interment will follow in Woods Family Cemetery on Sand Hill Road.

Remembrances may be given to Hospice of Laurens County.
