Pooler-Mrs. Betty Strickland Brown went to her Heavenly home on the beautiful morning of Sunday, September 13, 2015.
She had lived her entire life in the Pooler area until the last few years when she moved to Perry, GA to be near her son, David and his family. She was a mother and homemaker while raising her children, then retired as a bookkeeper at the Master's Inn in Garden City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Brown, Jr., son, Ronnie Brown, and grandson, Jeffrey Holland.
Survivors include her sons, David (Donna) of Perry, GA, Randy Brown of Pooler; daughter, Debbie Holland of Pooler; son-in-law, Emerson "Punkin" Holland of Pooler; grandchildren, Christian Brown, Tiffany Brown, Staci Shearouse, Brandon Prosser, and Malachai Shearouse.
The graveside funeral and burial will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery located at 1336 Dean Forest Road in Garden City, GA.
