Pooler – Betty Jean Colby, 66, passed away on March 11, 2014.

Mrs. Colby was born on October 12, 1947 to the late, Spencer B. Robinson, Sr. and Mary E. Robinson in Savannah. She attended the Savannah Schools until her graduation in 1965. She was joined in holy matrimony to Ricky Don Colby on March 27, 1981. To this union was born two children, a son David Andrew Colby and a daughter Jennifer Lynnette Colby. She was a great wife, sister, mother, friend, but most of all a great Christian.

Survivors include her husband, Ricky; son, David; daughter, Jennifer; sister, Linda Cowan; brother, James Robinson; sister-in-law, Marie Robinson, several nieces, nephews and friends.

The memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the First United Pentecostal Church at 1735 Grove Point Road in Savannah with Elder Ricky Colby officiating and Pastor David Hodge as the Host Pastor.
