Pooler-Mrs. Betty Cosby, 69, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Betty was born in Savannah to the late Charles C. Cole, Sr. & Catherine Welch Cole. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jess M. Cosby, Sr., a step-son, Jess M. Cosby, Jr, and a brother, Joey Cole. She enjoyed feeding people that liked to eat, and was a former owner/operator of Jefre's Restaurant. She enjoyed Bingo and playing cards. She also loved doing for others.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Terri & Powell Harrelson; her son and his fiance, Jeffrey Cosby & Kati Graves; step-daughter and her husband, Judy & Jimmy Rogers; step-daughter and her husband, Joyce & Art Colvin; step-son, Charlie Cosby; grandchildren, Christopher, Jesse, and Trenton Harrelson, and multiple step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles, Billy, and Tony Cole; sisters, Sally Wood, and Pat Cole, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
