Betty Jeanette Godbee
Springfield – Betty Jeanette Godbee, 77, passed away May 13, 2016 at her residence.
The McIntosh County native was a homemaker and attended God's House in Rincon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Buford Tolbert and Gladys Otal Tolbert; and her husband, Franklin Calvin Godbee.
Survivors include her children, Doris Sanders, Donna Shirley, James Burton, John Burton, and Dana Pevey; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Effingham Memorial Gardens.
