Mrs. Betty Harley, 92, of Port Wentworth, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Westview Nursing Home.
She was born in Hampton County, SC and had lived in Port Wentworth since 1953. She was a member of the Lydia Sunday School Class at the First Baptist Church of Port Wentworth. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Allen J. Harley. Betty was known for her laugh.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Betty Ann & Wayne Fortson of Savannah; son and daughter-in-law, Joe & Lorie Harley of Lake City, FL; grandsons and spouses, John & Jen Fortson, Jeffrey & Kelly Fortson and Jason Fortson, Daniel & Jonathan Harley; great-grandchildren, Brai Ann & Jeffrey Cooper Fortson, Landry & Porter Fortson.
The visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday, June 9 th from 10-11:30 a.m. with the graveside funeral and burial to follow at 12 noon at Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery located at 1600 Wheaton Street.
