Pooler-Mrs. Betty K. Reed, 75, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at Hospice
Savannah surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond & Lena Kanipes of White Sulphur
Springs, WV and a brother, Raymond Kanipes of Texas.

Survivors include her loving husband of 58 years, Maurice Reed of Pooler; daughter,
Sherry Altman of West Palm Beach, FL; son and daughter-in-law, Edward & Julie Reed
of West Palm Beach; grandchildren, Candace Giddens of Richmond Hill, Andrea
Giddens of Pembroke, Jimmy & Donna Reed and Shanna Reed, all of West Palm Beach;
great-grandchildren, Brooke West of Richmond Hill and Logan Reed of West Palm
Beach; sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie & Jimmy King of Fairlea, WV and several
nieces and nephews.

31416 or to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 13117, Savannah, GA 31416.

A memorial service to celebrate Mrs. Reed's life will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 9,
2008 at Shanklin Funeral Home in White Sulpher Springs, WV with Rev. Mike Estep
officiating.
