Midway-Mrs. Betty Elkins Stanford, 82, passed away on March 21, 2016, with her family by her side in Savannah, GA.
She was born April 22, 1933, in Savannah, to Alfred Lee and Inez Elkins. She graduated from Commercial High School in Savannah in January 1951. She enjoyed watching sports and playing games on her computer. She enjoyed family and she loved to sew for all her friends and family.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Otis; four sons, Mark (Alice), Lee (Lee also), Bill (Lori), and Bob (Sonja); a brother, Bobby (Joan); ten grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Owen.
The memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2016, at 2 p.m., at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 W. Hwy. 80 in Pooler.
