Pooler - Mrs. Betty Jean Stewart, 72, died on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Candler Hospital.
Mrs. Stewart was a homemaker and member of Westside Christian Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas J. and Betty (Wilkes) Phillips.
Survivors include her husband, Aaron Stewart of Pooler; son, Aaron P. Stewart and daughter-in-law Yvette "Betsy" Stewart of Richmond Hill; two grandchildren, Kara Ennis of San Antonio, TX and Tiffany Stewart of Carrollton, GA; three great-grandchildren, Kaitlin Ennis, Alexandria Ennis, and Austin Ennis; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Saturday at Westside Christian Church with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West on Dean Forest Road.
