Mrs. Betty Hood Turner, 93, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023.

Betty was born in Bulloch County to the late Lawrence Hood and Catherine Rebecca Davis Hood.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray D. Turner.  She was a member of Pooler Bible Church and worked for many years at Baker and Jarrell Supply Company.  She will be remembered for loving and always defending her family.

Survivors include her son, Craig Turner; grandson, Ray Turner; great-grandson, Winston Turner, and several nieces and nephews.

The graveside funeral and burial will be on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens located at 315 Greenwich Road in Savannah, Georgia.  Pastor Jeff Hubbard will be officiating.
