Savannah-Mrs. Betty Walburn, 81, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2011 at Memorial
Health University Medical Center.
Mrs. Betty was born in Savannah to the late Walter Eugene Blakewood and Edna Hazel
Faust Blakewood. She enjoyed doing embroidery, playing Bingo and watching the
Atlanta Braves. She retired from S & S Cafeteria.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Devoe and Donna Walburn; granddaughter, Lisa
Scott; great-grandchildren, Brian Kidd and Heather & A.J. Harn and a number of nieces
and nephews.
The graveside funeral to honor Mrs. Betty's life will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 14,
2011 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens located at 315 Greenwich Road, Savannah.
