Ms. Betty Jean Walters Creech-Burnsed, 89, of St. Simons Island, GA, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Magnolia Manor on St. Simons Island.
The Jeff Davis County native was a member of South Newington Baptist Church, was a Foster Parent, retired from Days Inn, and was a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Betty Frances Oliver (Wayne) of Saint Johns, FL, and Marcia Diane Creech-Joyce (Wayne) of Cape Coral, FL; a son, Edward Donald Creech, Jr. of Brooklet; grandchildren, Sean Edward Gooch, Amanda Rashel Parker, Kylie Christina Creech-Thompson (Joseph), and Makay Lynne Creech-Green (Micah); great-grandchildren, Devin and Erin Gooch, Grey Esser, Jensen Creech, and Alex Green, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be on Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 10 until 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. The funeral will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. The family will have a private burial.
The family respectfully requests that all in attendance wear a mask.
