Bloomingdale-Mrs. Betty "Louise" Wedincamp, 77, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at her home.
Mrs. Betty was born to the late Ferris C. & Janie Bashlor Carter. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Wedincamp. She attended South Newington Baptist Church and retired from Johnnie Ganem's Restaurant. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and taking care of her grandchildren.
Survivors include her son, Mike Wedincamp (Ruth) of Bloomingdale; daughter, Vickie Brown (Paul Edwards) of Springfield; grandchildren, Stephanie Brown Wagner (Anthony) of Savannah, Allen Brown of Springfield and Michael L. Wedincamp of Bloomingdale; great-grandchildren, Campbell and Turner Wagner and Daniel Brown and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, West Chatham Chapel.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at South Newington Baptist Church located at 453 John Carter Road in Bloomingdale with burial to follow at Westside Memorial Gardens on Adams Road in Bloomingdale.
