Betty Jo Wendelken
Rincon – Betty Jo Wendelken, 81, passed away May 18, 2016.
Born in Blackshear to the late Cephis M. Long and Willa Roberson Tebeau. She retired from Tetley Tea and was a member of Goshen United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Wendelken, Sr; son, John Wendelken; and sister, Orean Long.
Survivors include her children, Wanda Hill (Don) of Savannah, Robert L. Wendelken, Jr. (Jackie) of Rincon; sister, Wilma Clifton of Savannah; brother, T. R. Long of Waycross; grandchildren, Christopher Wendelken, Rebekah Hill, and Robert Hill; step-grandchildren, Tommy Hall, Connie McGuire, Kathleen Cowart (Rick); 1 great-grandchild; 14 step-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. in the chapel.
Interment will follow in Goshen United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Remembrances may be given to Goshen United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 107 Goshen Road, Rincon, GA 31326.
