Mrs. Beverly Jane Martin, 83, of Port Wentworth, GA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Brown's Nursing Home in Statesboro, GA under the services of Regency Southern Care Hospice.

She was born in St. Augustine, FL to the late Henry Beve and Lillie Lee Johnson.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter R. Martin, Jr.  She attended the First Baptist Church of Port Wentworth, loved music and playing the piano.  She had worked for both Fort Jackson and the Historical Museum in Savannah, as well as being a homemaker.

Survivors include her children, Walter Martin, Beve Martin (Valerie), Peggy Hebert (Corky), Dean Martin, and Nancy Morris (Stephen); grandchildren, Jamie (Heidi), Joshua (Kristin), Jacob, Emalee (Ryan), Eric (Jessica), Ashley (Brent), Dustin (Brandi), Madison (Landon), Heather, Cameron (Ashley), Christopher (Amber), and Cole (Morgan); great-grandchildren, Jackson, Caine, Abigail, Aria, Elliott, Emory, Kaitlyn, Kaylee, Tanner, Peyton, Avery, Emma, Easton, Bexley, Skylar, and Sophie.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home.  The graveside funeral and burial will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Bonaventure Cemetery located at 315 Greenwich Road in Savannah, GA.
