Guyton – Bill J. Amos, 84, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021 at his home.
The Rome, GA native was a retired high school art teacher, that taught at Cass High School in Cartersville, GA for 20 years. He was the 1987 Georgia Teacher of the Year and had operated a pottery studio in Rome. Bill had served his country in the US Marine Reserves.
He is survived by his son, Will Amos (Jennifer); grandchildren, Abby Rahe (Christopher) and Edward Amos; and great-grandchildren, Wyatt Amos and Zoey Rahe.
A memorial service will be held in June. Details will be posted on Bill's Facebook page.
