Pooler-Mr. Bill Henry Mincey, 90, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2009 at St.
Joseph's Hospital.

He was born in Bulloch County, GA and had lived in Pooler for 54 years. He is Deacon
Emeritus of Rothwell Baptist Church where he served for many years. He served in the
U.S. Navy during World War II and retired from Union Camp. He was preceded in death
by his parents, Steve and Becky Mincey, daughters, Bonnie Gail Mincey and Sybil
Burnside.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 71 years, Varnell Crosby Mincey; son,
Jimmie (Nancy) Mincey; daughters, Janell Wall, Darlene Waters and Wanda (Jack) Paul;
son-in-law, Bill Burnside; 10 grandchildren, Stevie (Donna) Wall, David Wall, Jeffrey
Morgan, Bryan (Kim) Morgan, Billy Burnside, Christy Mincey, Brittany Waters, Jennifer
Paul, Joshua Paul and Emily Paul; 10 great-grandchildren, Paige Morgan, Brandon
Morgan, Amanda Morgan, Bradley Burnside, Stephanie Burnside, Jessica Wall, Ashley
Wall, Robbie Weathers, Jared Weathers and Richelle Laughinghouse; brother, Steve
Mincey (Shirley); sister, Julia Haynes (Otto) and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 4-6 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Funeral: 2 p.m. on Sunday at Rothwell Baptist Church with burial to follow at Westside
Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Adams Road in Bloomingdale.
