Billy Steptoe 86, of Rincon GA went home to be with the Lord on May 16, 2023.

Billy was a hard worker from a very young age until he retired from Union Camp in 2002. He also served in the Air National Guard. Billy loved his family and kept each and every one close to his heart.

Billy coached softball with his wife Vivian for many years in Garden City as well as serving as Chairman of the Garden City Recreation Commission.  He was also an avid golfer.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Ruby Steptoe, and brothers Jack and Jimmy Steptoe.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Vivian, who he was inseparable from since the age of 18,  daughter Lynn Crowder (Nick), son Ric Steptoe (Joanie), daughter Jenny Smith (Kenny), grandchildren, Tyler Steptoe, Candis Fonooni (Damon), Chris Crowder, Chad Crowder (Kaila), Kalan Smith (Stephanie), Kane Smith, and Kohl Smith, 9 great grandchildren, his twin brother Bobby Steptoe (Sheresa), sister Ruby Lee Hutcheson,.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
