Guyton- Blake R. Clayton, 49, died September 8, 2014 at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL.
The Burlington, NC native was the human resources coordinator for the Effingham County Board of Education. Blake was a University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill graduate.
Survivors include his wife, Melanie A. Clayton; daughter, Lauren A. Childers; son, Chase R. Clayton; his parents, Roy and Nancy Clayton; a brother, Todd Clayton; and sister, Tammy Clayton.
Memorial Service: 12 noon on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Effingham Baptist Church.
