Mrs. Blondean Wells, age 96, of Garden City, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at The Gardens Senior Living in Statesboro, Georgia.

Blondean was born in Bulloch County to the late Randolph and Millie Cannon Deal.  She was preceded in death by her husband, S. Elmo Wells, sons, James Randall Wells, who lost his life in Vietnam, and baby David Wayne Wells, brother, Jimmy Deal, and sister, Hazel Yelverton.

She is survived by sisters, Wyndolyn Hall and brother-in-law Bill, Juanita Flake, and Martha Vincent, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Blondean enjoyed her many special times visiting with her niece Anita Wilson, and her sons, Joel Bettis, Tucker Bettis, and Terry Turner.  She especially loved their time fishing around the pond.

Blondean shared her life with her Family-in-love, Larry and Denise Bazemore and their children and grandchildren, Barry Bazemore, Brent Bazemore, Hadley Bazemore, Griffin Bazemore, and Jacob Bazemore.

Blondean was a member of the First Baptist Church of Garden City.  She retired from Industrial Conveyor Belt Systems at the age of 85.  She continued seeing "her boys", Alex Alexander and Jeff Warren, who would bring lunch and have a great visit !

A special thanks to her neighbor and friend, Ricky Kessler, for his unselfish kindness and help during her last years.

Blondean enjoyed many crafts but her love of quilting became her joy.  She made beautiful quilts for her family and friends that are truly treasured.

The visitation will be on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. at the funeral home.  The funeral to honor Blondean's life will follow at 10 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
