Bobbie Griffis Floyd
Springfield – Bobbie Griffis Floyd, 78, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014 at her residence after a long illness.
The Pierce County native was a member of Turkey Branch United Methodist Church and former co-owner and operator of Bobbiedee's in Rincon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wade Hampton Griffis and Ida Mae Thomas Griffis; brothers, Wade Hampton Griffis, Jr. and R.D. Griffis; and sister, Peggy Elliott.
Survivors include her husband, Tommy Floyd; daughter, Kim Floyd; son, Wade (Stephanie) Floyd; granddaughters, Alexis and Hayden Floyd; brother, A.J. (Glenda) Griffis; sister, Edra (Joe) Haban; sister-in-law, Laverne Griffis; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Turkey Branch United Methodist Church.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Remembrances may be given to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alzfdn.org.
