Sylvania- Bobbie Shipes, 80, died Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Syl-view Healthcare Center.
The Merritt Island, FL native was a member of First Baptist Church of Rincon, where she had taught Sunday School for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles N. Shipes and her son, Lee Shipes.
Survivors include her sons, Eddy Shipes (Earlette) and Andy Shipes (Vicky Poole); grandchildren, Stacey, Chris, Tonya, Joyce, Michael, and Matthew Shipes; 9 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 10-11 am Saturday, July 30, 2016 in the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 am Saturday, July 30, 2016 in the funeral home chapel.
Interment: Rincon Cemetery
