Bloomingdale-Mr. Bobby Burnsed, 76, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at his home.
Bobby was born in Savannah to the late Percy & Tyra Burnsed. He was a member of Powers Baptist Church for 76 years, and served his country in the U.S. Marines. He was in the sheet metal business for 25 years, and was later owner/operator of R.P. Burnsed Inc. He enjoyed hunting, bass fishing, photography, traveling, and building things with wood.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Wynette Burnsed; children, Sherie & Billy Hoffer, James Tracy Burnsed, and Alan & Amber Burnsed; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, George, Kennon, and Vernon Burnsed, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be on Friday at the Old Powers Baptist Church at the corner of Hwy. 80 and Old River Road from 10-10:50 a.m. with the graveside service and burial to follow at 11 a.m. in the Powers Baptist Church Cemetery.
