Mr. Bobby Gene Fennell, Sr., 79, of Savannah, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Hospice Savannah.

Mr. Fennell was born in Swainsboro to the late Willie & Sallie Mae Fennell.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and loved stock car racing and had even built several stock cars.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara J. Fennell; our children, Bobby Fennell, Jr. (Anita), Terry Fennell (Tina), Kenny Fennell (Kara), Newt Doyle (Pam), Rudy Jenkins (Michelle) and Debra Goodrich (Chuck); many grandchildren; brothers, Frank Fennell and Grady Fennell and several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Tuesday, February 20, 2017 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The funeral will be on Wednesday, February 21, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.  Pastor Jason Wilson will officiate.  The pallbearers will be Howard West, Ronnie Gordon, Jr., Nick Newman, Chuck Goodrich, Jobie Williamson and Stewart Lewis.
