Bobby Gene Holloway – GUYTON – Bobby Gene Holloway, 75, of Guyton, Ga. died Tuesday November 22, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Memphis, TN. and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Rincon, GA. He retired Gulfstream Aerospace in 2001 as a Quality Control Inspector. He loved his family and his dog, Bentley, enjoyed reading, and the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents Marcus and Gladys Dee Wright Holloway.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia Adams Holloway of Guyton, GA; Three sons, Edward Morris Holloway (Susan) of Rincon, GA; Donald Ray Holloway (Donna) of Atlanta, GA; Todd Derrek Holloway (Jennifer) of Atlanta, GA; two daughters, Kimberly Ann Himes (Kenny) of Bluffton, SC; and Sondra Gail Hendrix (Kevin) of Savannah, GA; Three granddaughters, Amanda Spelman (Steven), Devin Holloway , Elizabeth Himes and four grandsons, Christopher Himes, Matthew Holloway, Adam Holloway, and Jared Holloway; one great-granddaughter, Isabella Spelman; half brother, Aubrey Lynn (Diana) Holloway. Visitation: 5:00 pm Friday November 25, 2011 at Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Saturday in the chapel. Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
