Ms. Bonnie Lynn Holton Bohannon
Bloomingdale-Ms. Bonnie Lynn Holton Bohannon, 55, died on Saturday, March 8, 2008
at the Jenkins County Hospital.
The Chatham County native was Baptized at Bethel Baptist Church and was a graduate of
Wolcott Day School. She was a former beautician, had worked at Belk's for twenty
years, Joyners Corner for ten years and was a caregiver to her mother for two years. She
was preceded in death by her parents, James Harley and Betty Tuttle Beasley and her
ex-husband, Charles Holton.
Survivors include her son, Matthew John Holton of Bloomingdale; step-son, Alvin
Holton of Savannah; grandson, Hunter Holton of Bloomingdale; sister and
brother-in-law, Pam & Randy Myers of Bloomingdale; two brothers and sisters-in-law,
Andy & Saundra Beasley and Ricky & Tina Beasley, all of Bloomingdale; several nieces
and nephews and beloved friends, Buddy Bohannon, Molly and Mike.
The visitation for Ms. Holton is from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at the
Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, West Chatham Chapel.
The funeral to celebrate Ms. Holton's life is at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 in
the chapel of the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, West Chatham Chapel
with Rev. Kenny Harrelson officiating. Burial will follow at Westside Memorial Gardens
on Adams Road in Bloomingdale.
