Bonnie Joyce Moore Mays

Rincon – Bonnie Joyce Moore Mays, 87, passed away January 23, 2026 at her residence.

The Glenwood, GA native attended First Baptist Church of Rincon and was a member of the Red Hat Society. She was the former owner/operator of New Beginnings Formal Shop.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dodge Delmus Moore and Irene Rainey Moore; son, Charles Kevin Mays; brother, Berry Moore; sisters, Elizabeth Sue Gomez and Caroline Sweat.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Robert Mays; children, Brenda Gantt (James), Aaron William Mays (Barbara), and Byron Edward Mays; grandchildren, Jason Gantt (Sarah), Bradley Gantt (Katy), Katie Gantt, Joseph Gantt, Allison Gorman (Matt), Mary Rosendahl (Brian), Paige Mays, Caleb Cone (Rachel), and Hannah Lovezolla (Keith); great-grandchildren, Wyatt Gorman, Logan Kowalkiewiecz, Wesley Gorman, Nora Gantt, Casen Cone, Hazel Gantt, Red Gantt, Owen Kowalkiewiecz, Hudson Cone, and Charlotte Gantt; 2 nieces and 1 nephew.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. in the chapel.

Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey West.
