Pooler-Ms. Bonnie Carol Pearson Eminger, 65, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Hospice Savannah with her family by her side.
Ms. Bonnie was born in Sylvester, GA to the late Charlie James Pearson and Agnes Hines Pearson. She was a member of the Pooler First Baptist Church, retired from the State of Georgia Childcare Licensing Department, and later worked for the Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Wesley Paul Eminger and Kendall Tomlin Eminger; sister and brother-in-law, Blanche Pearson Thornhill and Randall Thornhill; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Callye Pearson; nephews, Randy and John Thornhill; nieces, Dana McCarley and Amber Finlayson; a great-niece and a great-nephew.
The funeral to celebrate Ms. Bonnie's life was at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at the Pooler First Baptist Church with Rev. Otis Hill and Rev. Jeff Hubbard officiating. Pallbearers were Brian Thomas, Rick Claxton, Jeremy Batayias, Michael Johns, Christopher Johns and Brandon Yockel. Burial followed at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
