Springfield – Brandon Lyle Godfrey, 36, passed away October 10, 2022 at Memorial Health.

The South Carolina native was a diesel mechanic who loved working on low riders and vehicles.  He was known for his smile and wit, loved his family, friends, and spending time at the beach.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, James Jasper Wilkinson.

Survivors include his son, Colten Lyle Godfrey; mother, Sonya Wilkinson; father, Bruce Lyle Godfrey;  step-children, Logan Edenfield and Noah Mealey; siblings, Tyler Godfrey, Brianna Wilkinson, and Kyle Wilkinson; niece, Carleigh Godfrey; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; best friend, Jimmy Knight and the Knight family.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2022 at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 3 p.m. in the chapel.
