Brandon Lane Kanehl Born June 20, 1981 — Passed December 29, 2025 Guyton, Georgia

Brandon Lane Kanehl was born in Monroe, Louisiana, and raised in Liddieville, Louisiana. He attended Winnsboro High School, Class of 1999. Brandon built a respected career as a Senior Structure Mechanic at Gulfstream, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. He married Jamie Lee Kanehl on September 29, 2018, in Guyton, Georgia.

Brandon is survived by his father, Rayburn Kanehl; his brother, Rayburn (Ray) Lee Kanehl II; his brother, Daron Keith (Casey) Kanehl; his daughter, McKenzie Rheanna (Rhea) Kanehl; and his son, Brandon (Buddy) Lane Kanehl II. He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Richmond Kanehl.

Brandon was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, and music. The simple things in life brought him the greatest joy — sharing good food, laughter, and time with the people he loved. He was a positive, straightforward man who valued honesty, friendship, and family, and he never hesitated to speak his mind. Brandon was a "mama's boy" at heart and cherished the deep bond he shared with his mother.

A visitation will be held on January 3, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. at Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, 2460 GA-21, Rincon, Georgia 31326.

He will be laid to rest beside his mother at Ogden Cemetery in Liddieville, Louisiana.
