Brandy Burris

Brandy Burris, 52, of Savannah, Georgia, died on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Brandy will be missed by her son and daughter, Brandon Jones of Stillmore, and Hailey Jones of Savannah; half-brother, Buck Collins of Stillmore; ex-husband, Andra Jones of Decatur; grandparents, Linda Jones and Stanley Jones of Decatur; aunts and uncles, Sheryl Horwitz, (Michael) Cathy Tarver (Art), Tammy Minis (Travis), Pam Baker (Jim), and Mark Roberts (Sandra); Latrell Burris and her children, Pam and Terry.

Brandy was born in Chatham County and was preceded in death by her mother, Debra Roberts Collins; father, Albert “Buddy” Burris; step-father, Remer Leve Collins, Jr.; uncle, Carey Roberts; aunt, Sue Long. She was baptized at Olive Branch Baptist Church. Brandy attended Bryan County High School where she was a cheerleader, played softball and played the clarinet in the band, she later graduated from Emanuel County Institute in Twin City. Brandy served her country in the United States Army where she was a medical lab tech. She went on to receive her Associates Degree from Barton Community College. She was a huge enthusiast of the UGA Bulldogs, and was a devoted employee of PMC. She had a love for reading, a special love for crafts and creative projects and, most importantly, she fulfilled her lifelong dream of being a loving mother to her two children. Brandy will dearly be missed by all those who were fortunate to know her.
