Ms. Brenda Lee Carroll Coon, 72, of Oliver, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2024 at Wellstar MCG Health in Augusta, Georgia.

Brenda was born in Vidalia, Georgia and was preceded in death by her parents, Chesley Ervin Carroll and Nettie Ruth Wilkes Coward, as well as her brother, Bobby Dwayne Coward.  Brenda had been employed at Southern Bell, retired from Kamira, and was currently employed with Grainger Nissan.  She enjoyed sewing, going on cruises, traveling, gambling and spending money.  She will be remembered for being a loving and giving person, who cherished her family.  Heaven shines brighter today from the second Brenda arrived.  She fought so very hard and inspired many with her strength and testimony along the way.

Survivors include her fiancé, Billy Faulk; special uncle, Billy Wilkes (Corine); special cousin, Sophia Somesta; half-sisters, Glynda Rose Carroll, Liz Carroll Amos (Ken), Sissy Carroll Farrar, and Sylvia Carroll Langford (Scott); a number of cousins, including Audrey Spivey, Evelyn Wieckmann, Nellie Boyles, Rocky Wilkes (Kay), Tammy Wilkes Watson (Chip), and Wayne Driggers; her Yorkie, Brenlee and her mixed breed, Goober.

The visitation will be on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.  The funeral to honor Brenda's life will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.  Pastors Scott Souther and Perry Hearn will officiate.  The pallbearers will be Dahchin Wu, Eliiott Wilson Boyles IV "Bubba", Soyna Somesta, William Wayne Driggers, Sr., Celso Espino, and Tommie Moore.
