Brenda Bacon Morgan

Brenda Bacon Morgan, of Pembroke, Georgia, passed away at her home on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the age of 76. Surrounded by her loving family, she peacefully transitioned to rest in the arms of her heavenly Father.

Brenda was a native of Pembroke, being part of a large and loving family. She spent much of her adult life living in Savannah, where she worked for Critz Buick for over 20 years. She was married to the late D.K. Morgan, with whom she shared many wonderful memories. They shared a love of horses and took many a memorable horseback ride together. Brenda also loved travelling. She took many trips to locations all over the world, collecting many wonderful memories and stories to share.

Brenda was a steady and supportive presence in the lives of her family, always willing to lend an ear or a hand whenever needed. She was a longtime member of Pembroke Christian Church, and her faith was the cornerstone of her life. She remained strong in her faith throughout her last illness, secure in the knowledge that she would soon be with her Lord.

In addition to her husband D.K. Morgan, Brenda was preceded in death by her sisters Ellen Fiveash, Florine Wetherington, Patricia Waters, Shirley Bacon, and June Copi, and by her brother Harold Bacon.

She is survived by her sisters, brothers, and their husbands and wives, Margaret “Cleo” Howell, Perry Bacon and Marie Bacon, Stanley Bacon and Kathy Bacon, Kenneth Copi, Raymond Bacon and Annette Bacon, Frances Frost and Jim Frost, Roy Bacon, and Karen McFarland. She also leaves to cherish her memory her niece Christine Winn, whom she loved and nurtured as a daughter, in addition to many other beloved nieces and nephews and extended family.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 29, 2026 from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral celebration of life service will follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery.
