Stilson-Mrs. Brenda "Dale" Wilcox Roberts, 65, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2013 under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Weston and Claudia Wilcox of Port Wentworth. She was a member of the Port Wentworth United Methodist Church and she retired from the Bulloch County Board of Education.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, James "Larry" Roberts of Stilson; sons, Jason (Angie) Roberts and Chris (Amy) Roberts; grandchildren, Aubrey and Jackson Roberts, all of Bulloch County; mother-in-law, Nell Roberts of Garden City; brother-in-law, Stuart (Lisa) and Jake Roberts; sister, Faye (Jimmy) Hartley of Port Wentworth; nieces, Traci and Teresa; aunt, Gladys Simmons of Bluffton, SC and a special friend and loving caregiver, Julia Scott.
The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home in Pooler.
The graveside funeral and burial will be at 3 p.m. on Tuesday at the Olive Branch Baptist Church Cemetery located at 55 Heape Road in Ellabell. Pallbearers will be Larry Roberts, Jason Roberts, Chris Roberts, Stuart Roberts, Randy Brown and Billy Griffin.
