Brenda Turner (Zipperer) Pack

Brenda Turner Pack, age 77, died at Willow Pond Senior Care in Statesboro, GA.

Mrs. Pack graduated from Effingham County High School in 1966 and attended Armstrong Atlantic State University. She worked with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court and the Honorable Reginald McDuffee. In 1968, she began her career with the Chatham County Department of Family and Children Services, where she served until retiring in December 2005. She was deeply dedicated to her work and made a lasting impact on the lives of many children, families, and seniors. Mrs. Pack was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Guyton. She was preceded in death by her father, William L. Turner; her mother, Mary K. Turner; Roland Zipperer, the father of Holly and Wade; her niece, Juli Stone Gnann; her granddaughter, Brooke Madison Pack; and her special aunt, Virginia “Jenny” Wallace.

Mrs. Pack is survived by: husband, Larry C. Pack of Ellabell, GA; daughter, Holly Zipperer (Kim) of Fort Mill, SC; sons, Wade Zipperer (Amanda) of Brooklet, GA and Adam Pack (Jessica) of Pembroke, GA; daughter-in-law, Daniella Pack (David) of Ellabell, GA; grandchildren, Cade, Keller, Bradley Zipperer, and Rylee Pack; sister; Ann Stone (Clifton) of Guyton, GA and Joyce Lindsey (Rick) of Richmond Hill, GA; and many special Turner, Pack, and Zipperer relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

There will not be a public funeral service. A private graveside service for family only per her wishes.
