Brittany B. Bock
Tomah, WI – Brittany B. Bock, 27, formerly of Statesboro, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at her residence.
She was born in North Carolina and was a member of the Hendersonville, NC Graduating High School class of 2004. After high school she joined the U.S. Army and served oversees in Baqubah, Iraq from 2006 until 2008, and served as M.P. She was united in marriage to Turner Bock on June 26, 2011 at Durham, NC. Brittany was an outdoors girl who enjoyed alligator hunting and small game hunting with her grandpa Charles Henry Yarley, Sr. She loved to paint and had an artist's heart, she designed many of her own tattoos. Brittany volunteered for the Department of Veterans Affairs –Tomah and was a member of the Curtis-McNutt Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1382. Brittany had a very casual personality and was extremely devoted to her family. She was a devoted wife, and a loving daughter, sister, and aunt.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheyenne Emery Yarley; her maternal grandfather, Robert Stepkoski; and her paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Yarley.
Survivors include her husband, Turner of Tomah, WI; her mother, Caryl Burchett of Cary, NC; her father, Charles Henry Yarley, Jr. (Melanie) of Statesboro; a sister, Rebecca Singleton (John) of Miramar MCAS; a brother, Charles Henry Yarley, III (Maria) of Hope Springs, NC; her paternal grandfather, Charles Henry Yarley, Sr. of Rincon; 8 nieces and nephews; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Hamilton and Robin Bock of Belpre, KS; a sister-in-law, Jayne Bock of Guelph, Ontario, Canada; a brother-in-law, Manter Bock of San Diego, CA; her U.S. Army Family; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. in the chapel.
Interment will follow in the Mims and Yarley Family Cemetery in Garnett, SC.
