Brook Christian Braswell, 55, of Guyton, GA, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Duke University Hospital.

Brook was born in Augusta, GA and was employed with Paladin Software, which gave him an opportunity to communicate with clients all over the world.  He was a member of Chevis Oaks Baptist Church.  He had studied Theology, served in mission work in Africa, had a clown ministry, and will be remembered as being a big man of God and seeing the good in everyone.  He enjoyed playing games, especially chess, and will be missed by his family.

Survivors include his wife, Lynn Braswell; step-son, John Redding (Miranda); mother, Gloria Braswell; father, Robert Braswell (Sue); brother, Lee Braswell (Teresa); sister, Dee Dee Morris (Bobby); nieces and nephews, Amanda (Tom), Jon (Mandie), Scotty (Ashlee), Katie, Leslie (Josh), Christopher, and Brittany; sister-in-law, Paula Applegate.

The visitation will be on Monday, December 20 ^th from 1:30 until 3 p.m. at the funeral home.  The memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Powers Baptist Church Cemetery.
