On March 10, 2025, Rev. Roland Dann, 82, passed peacefully from this world into Heaven and went to meet his Savior, Jesus. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Linda (Mrs. Sweetie), three children, Terri, Tami and Mike, seven grandchildren, Ethan, Emily, Hannah, Rachel, Maggie, Mollie and Jake and three great grandchildren, Hayden and River plus one little one on the way, Liam.  A Homegoing Celebration will be held at Countryside Baptist Church, located at 1201 Noel C. Conaway Road , Guyton, Georgia on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 11 am.  Visitation with the family will precede the service from 10-11 am.  Rev. Mike Dann, Rev. Rick Flowers and Rev. Ernie Pirkle will be officiating.  The active pallbearers will be Ethan Sanders, Caleb Stoots, Jake Dann, Eric Blanton, LaFonza Carter, Eric Peavy, James Eddleman, and Lee Hopkins.  The honorary pallbearers will be active or retired pastors and their wives, as well as employees of the Effingham County Sheriffs Department.  Burial will follow at Effingham Memorial Gardens.  Memorial gifts may be given to Gideons International www.gideons.org , or St. Jude Children's Research, stjude.org or Ogeechee Area Hospice, 200 Donehoo Street, Statesboro, GA  30458.  Thomas C.
