Rincon – Bruce Wayne Bockelmann, 73, passed away August 10, 2021 at his residence.

The New York native was a U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, and National Guard veteran.  He was a genuine man and proud of his service and the military.  He retired from the New York State Corrections.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Bockelmann; and brother, Melvin Bockelmann.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Glenda Susser; daughter, Sara Katherine Bockelmann; granddaughter, Jordan Susser-Damms; his mother, Katherine Short Bockelmann;  brother, Kurt Bockelmann; sister, Georgianna Buchanan.

No formal services will be held.
