Guyton – Calvin I. Wilson, 80, passed away Monday, August 17, 2015 at Memorial Health surrounded by loving family members.
The Chatham County native was a member of First Baptist Church of Springfield, served in the U.S. Air Force, and was self-employed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, E.G. and Eleanor Virginia Davis Wilson; and his wife, Elvie Shuman Wilson.
Survivors include his daughters, Kelly (Lee) Rahn of Springfield and Kristie (John) Stern of South Burlington, VT; grandchildren, Troy and Ivey Rahn, Andrew and Kayla Stern; siblings, Gerald (Pat) Wilson, Gloria (George) Erickson, Sherry Dell (Gene) Clark, Sandra (Walton) White, Rosie (Mike) Saxon, Roxie (Jimmy) Herring, Charles (Libby) Wilson; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel.
Interment will follow in First Baptist Church of Richmond Hill Cemetery.
