Pooler-Mrs. Camillia "Midge" Wynn, 66, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Midge was born in St. Andrews, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Wynn; daughter, Alicia Driggers, and father, Willie Earl Shipes. She served on the Bloomingdale Planning & Zoning Board for 5 years, was employed at C & S Bank/NationsBank for 14 years, and retired from the Bryan County Department of Family & Children Services. She loved being with her family, and spending time at Clark Hill Lake.
Survivors include her mother, Aunette Shipes; sons, Danny & Carol Wynn of Metter, and Dennis & Sandi Wynn of Milton; grandchildren, Matt & Ashley Driggers of Tarrytown, Megan & Mike Guin of Tarrytown, Katlin & Kyle Padgett of Hardeeville, Kylie Wynn of Statesboro, Austin Padgett of Metter, Larkin, Ameila & Davis Wynn of Milton; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Patty & Travis Whiting of Pace, FL, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
