Carl A. Aiken

Mr. Carl A. Aiken, 82, of Springfield, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026.  Carl will be missed by his wife of 24 years, Janice Strickland Aiken; son, Tim Aiken (Tara); grandchildren, Cassidy Aiken, Hunter Aiken, and Shelby Aiken; brother, Wendell Aiken (Joy); nephews and nieces, Brett Aiken, Brad Aiken, Sean Aiken, and Charmaine Wilson; brother-in-law, Joseph Strickland (Theresa).  Carl was born in Savannah, Georgia and was a 1964 graduate of Savannah High School.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Clark Futch Aiken and Eilleen Sheppard Aiken, as well as a brother, Wallace Aiken and an aunt, Ann Dent.  He served his country in the United States Army Air National Guard.  He retired after 33 years from Bellsouth where he was an outside plant foreman in Savannah and Brunswick, and a training center instructor in Atlanta.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and yard work.  The visitation will be on Saturday, April 4, 2026 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.  Pastor Bob LaFavi will speak at 6 p.m.  Thomas C.
