Carl Junior Dasher

Marlow – Carl Junior Dasher, 89, born 12-12-24, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Effingham Hospital.

The Effingham County native was a member of Marlow United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and retired from Union Camp.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Christian Dasher and Annie Nease Dasher; wife, Evelyn Venetta Garvin Dasher; son, Richard Carl Dasher; siblings, Grady Dasher, Celia Brown, Inez Dasher, and Roger Dasher, Sr.

Survivors include his children, Randall Dasher, Ernie Dasher, Venetta Dallow, and Wayne Dasher; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ronella Dasher, Elfie Dasher, Ronald Dasher, Sr., and Ella Ruth Forstrom; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Marlow United Methodist Church.

Interment will be in the Marlow Cemetery.

Remembrances may be given to Marlow United Methodist Church.
