Guyton-Mr. Carl Thomas Hodges, Jr., 61, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2013 at his home.
Carl was born in Savannah and was preceded in death by his father, Carl Thomas Hodges, Sr. He retired from the United States Army and received the Bronze Star while serving in Operation Desert Storm. He also enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include his daughter, Janice Hodges; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Carl Hodges, III and Jessee & Betsy Hodges; mother, Norma Hodges; sister, Patsy Williams; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Stanley & Lisa Hodges and Joe & Mary Hodges; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The graveside funeral and burial will be at 2 p.m. on Monday at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery located at 1336 Dean Forest Road in Garden City.
